Queen Elizabeth (later the Queen Mother), Lady Blane and the corgis belonging to Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret during an inspection of the first YMCA mobile canteen unit before it departed for France. The Tatler comments that, "The Princesses' very friendly Corgis are not in the least camera-shy and manage to get in many picture."
