Details

The body of Jacob Leisler being reburied in the yard of the Dutch Reform Church. Leisler had led a rebellion in New York against the Dominion regime in place, and had been executed when the rebellion failed. Leisler was executed in 1690 but his estate was not returned to his family nor Leisler himself reburied until 1698.
