Details

Arrival of a vessel in Paris on the Seine River, carrying provisions from London for the beleagured inhabitants of Paris, 1871. After the French surrender and the cessation of hostilites in the Franco-Prussian War, aid from London was at last allowed to reach Paris by boat.
