Description The Remains of Capt. Gardiner at Tierra del Fuego
Details

On a mission to Tierra del Fuego, Captain Gardiner and his crew all died of starvation due to forgetting to put their stock of shot on the launch boats, meaning they could not hunt for food after their supplies has gone, and a severe delay in delivering fresh supplies. By the time the supplies arrived, all the party were dead. A rowboat approaches the shore, a man standing up pointing to where Gardiner's boat lies beached with human bones next to it.
