Details

The Royal Navy's new deep-sea observation chamber, invented by Robert H Davis of Siebe, Gorman & Co., the inventor of submarine life-saving apparatus. The observation chamber was used in the search for the sunken submarine HMS M2 which sank on a training exercise on 26th January 1932 in West Bay, Dorset with the loss of all 60 crew.
