An impression of the great Victory Ball, held at the Albert Hall to celebrate the end of the First World War in aid of the Nation's Fund for Nurses. 4000 tickets were sold and the cream of society attended. The event of the evening was a procession of costumed society ladies representing various the Allies and various symbols of peace. Heading the procession was Lady Diana Manners (later Cooper) dressed as Britannia.
