Description The Wave Hairstyle 1926
Details

A permanently waved hairstyle by Feminix salon, Piccadilly, London, 1926. 'Shingled' or 'bobbed' hair became universally popular during the 1920's, a reflection of women's new-found freedom, following their new right to vote. Hair was frequently given a permanent wave, and advertisements extolling the virtues of the latest permanent wave were common.
