Fancy dress costume suggestion for 1884. To go as a Witch it is suggested to wear a quilted petticoat touching the ground, a chintz tunic open at the front and bunched up, a muslin apron, low velvet bodice, laced across the front, and a high pointed hat. Toads, black cat, owl and a broom are optional.
