Scenes depicting the various incidents relating to the sinking of the steam ship, 'Stella'. The ship was sailing from Southampton when it was caught among the Casquet rocks and her bottom was torn open. The scenes depicted here show the foundering at the Roche Noire; Pierre Normand, Coastguard at Tardeheu, discovering survivoirs; the landing of survivors; and the rescue operation.
