The funeral of Thomas Hardy (1840 - 1928) in Westminster Abbey drawn by ILN's special artist, Steven Spurrier. Hardy's ashes were interred in poet's corner in the Abbey next to Charles Dickens, but his heart was buried at Stinsford in Dorset.
