Three fallen soldiers during the early weeks of the First World War. They are: Brigadier-General N D Findlay of the Royal Field Artillery, the first General to be killed; Lieutenant Percy Wyndham of the Coldstream Guards, killed near Soissons; Colonel Sir E R Bradford of the Seaforth Highlanders.
