Tirrenio, Lord of the Mediterranean, warns Palemon that if he is unfaithful to Ondine he will lose his life. Illustration to a fairytale by Baron Friedrich de la Motte Fouque, first published 1812, and performed as a ballet by the Royal Ballet in 1958.
