Description | Town Hall at Louvain, Belgium, WW1 |
Details |
The Town Hall at Louvain, Belgium, with an inset of Kaiser Wilhelm II at the start of the First World War. The caption suggests that the building, in Brabantine late gothic style, has been 'reduced to ruins' by the Germans, but it did in fact survive wartime damage.
