Impression of Trafalgar Square during the First World War showing a recreated war torn village in france, including a replica windmill, set up as an exhibit as part of 'Our Day' - a fundraising event that took place across London towards the end of the war. Trafalgar Square was frequently used as a focal point for such activities and hosted several 'Feed the Guns' and 'Tank Week' campaigns where the public could visit replica trenches or see inside a tank in exchange for invested in government war bonds.
