Details

The sensational trial of Robert Wood at the new Old Bailey in December 1907. Wood was put on trial for the murder of Emily Dimmock (known as Phyllis), a part-time prostitute, in Camden Town, but was acquitted after a brilliant defence by his barrister, Edward Marshall Hall.
