Details

The United States blockades Mexico: the naval demonstration in the Gulf. The Mexican situation seen from above the port of Vera Cruz. The occupation of Vera Cruz by US troops brought America and Mexico to the brink of war. It began in April 1914 with the detention of US Marines in Tampico -- they were apprehended in a restricted zone.
