Details

This illustration shows how pieces of Victorian jewellery were being reused as ornamental brooches more in keeping with the 1930s. The jewellery department in Army & Navy invited owners of similar jewels to submit designs allowing them to adapted their old jewellery into more desirable brooches of the time.
