Votes for Women, the first suffragette play, which was staged at the Court Theatre (now the Royal Court) in 1907. The Sketch comments this is the finest crowd scene they have seen at the theatre in many years. Directed by Harley Granville Barker, it was written by an American actress, Elizabeth Robins.
