Dr. William Gilbert Grace (1848 - 1915), batting in the Gravesend vs. Eltham cricket match, held at Gravesend cricket ground, 1913. Grace was arguably the finest cricketer of his era, scoring 126 first-class centuries and taking 2876 wickets, playing for England and Gloucestershire. He retired from international cricket in 1899, aged 51.
