Mrs Wallis Warfield (1896 - 1986) formerly Mrs Ernest Simpson. Featured in The Sketch, prior to her marriage to the Duke of Windsor on the 3rd June 1937. The Duke abdicated from the throne as King Edward VIII in order to marry Wallis, an American divorcee.
