Inside Westminster Abbey during the marriage service of Princess Mary, only daughter of King George V and Queen Mary, later Princess Royal and Countess of Harewood, to Viscount Lascelles, later 6th Earl of Harewood. The couple are kneeling and being addressed by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Randall Davidson. On the first row of chairs are seated King George V, Queen Mary, the Duke of York (later George VI), and the Duchess of Fife, at this point holding the title Princess Royal.
