Is it Peace?' Ceremony of the sword, a remarkable impressive observance. A huge sword is upraised and partly unsheathed. The attendants bards having just placed hands on it, the Arch Druid partly supports it cries: "A oes Heddwch?" ("Is it Peace?") from the people comes the loud response, "Heddwch" (It is Peace?"), this is repeated, the sword is then thrust back into its scabbard, the ceremony symbolises a truce and has come down from ancient times.
