An ideal outfit for skiing in 1935 from Army and Navy Stores consisting of black and white check plus fours in proofed serge, a scarlet sweater with a high neck and a white Grenfell cloth wind jacket specifically designed to keep out the wind, rain and snow. A knitted head band with ear protectors completes the scheme together with white spats with red leather facings and a rucksack or 'bun bag' in waterproof twill.
