Winifred Cavendish-Bentinck(1863-1954) Duchess of Portland, D.B.E, shown here in 1913. The Illustrated London News notes that 'at the Coronation of King George and Queen Mary, her Grace was one of four duchesses who held the Pall over the Queen during the anointing.' She was also a social reformer and active member of the R.S.P.C.A.
