Members of Women's Royal Naval Service, know as the Wrens, with one of their officers, formed in 1917 for the First World War, it was disbanded in 1919 after WWI and revived in 1939 at the beginning of the Second World War. Photograph showing the Wrens taking part in the Peace Day march celebrations on 19th July 1919.
