WW1 - Austro-Hungarian troops capture Belgrade, Serbia on the 66th anniversary of Emperor Francis Joseph's accession on December 2nd 1914. It was to be a short-lived triumph, as by December 14th Belgrade had been cleared of the Austrian force, who were routed in disarray.
