WW1 - Dardanelles Campaign - The Australians and Indians carrying a Turkish position in spite of the barbed wire fences. The Gallipoli peninsula as a point for military operations proved an obstacle as the landing of the attackers at the beaches could not be forseen due to the slopes and hills of the cliffs.
