Description | WW1 - Decorated Belgian aeroplanes - Charlie Chaplain |
Details |
WW1 - An illustration of the world-popular cinema star, Charlie Chaplain, on the nose of a Belgian aeroplane. The idea behind the Belgian avaiator's sense of humour is that the image of the comedian would not be appreciated by the enemy in times of serious air-warfare.
