Engraving of a torpedo steam launch built by Messrs. Yarrow and Hedley of Poplar, London, for the Argentinian Navy, February 1875. This launch, 55 foot in length and 7 foot beam, was designed to attack larger vessels, under cover of darkness, with its torpedo on a pole.
