Description YMCA appeal for more huts on Western Front, WW1
Details

Advertisement asking for donations towards more YMCA huts on the Western Front in order to provide shelter for the advancing British troops. The advert reads, 'our men are fighting in a country nearly bare of shelter, where the Germans have burned and destroyed everything possible.' Illustration shows troops stopping for refreshments outside a bombed and ruined estaminet which has a YMCA sign.
