Zazel at the Royal Aquarium, London. 'A beautiful Lady shot from a monstrous cannon.' After a theatrical pause, the 'fuse' is lit, and Zazel shoots forth 35 feet from the spring loaded wooden cannon, landing in the ample safety net below. This is thought to be the earliest photograph of a human cannonball act.
