Countess of Drogheda cooking during WWII
Kathleen, Countess of Drogheda, C.B.E who is an expert cook, now does all her own housework in her London flat. In Lincolnshire, she keeps ducks and chickens, has planted an acre of vegetables, works with the Grimsby Red Cross Division and has organised physical culture classes for factory workers. Lady Drogheda was the first woman to fly, and during 1914-18 organised the first Air Exhibition, which was shown in eighteen towns, where a great deal of money was raised for Air Force Hospitals
