Smartly dressed old lady looking at camera with other customers sitting behind, one raising a pint and another playing a mouth organ. Birch Villa pub, Wilmslow Road, Rusholme, Manchester. The pub was later renamed Hardy's Well and bore a poem by Lemn Sissay on its exterior wall. The building was demolished in May 2023
