Details

In 1966, for the first time, the Royal Aeronautical Society had a stand at the SBAC Air Show at Farnborough. Near one of the entrances to the exhibition, the stand featured a large cage containing a young kestrel. This was supported by coloured panels depicting early aircraft against a sky background containing a rocket trail. The stand was designed by Frederick Lloyd.
