Distinguishing wisdom from soundbyte
the sound heart from the scoured out,
hard it is. Hard as caring some days.
Are you trying? Are you trying hard enough?

your fearful, fluttering heart.
These ordinary destinations of our days
have become places of darkness.
Spiders know there is no reprieve
for spinning it wrong, so they don’t.
Their webs are larders for the storage of honours,

cosmological back doors, occasionally breached
