Who needs a road? I can reach so many
more places without one. The broody hens
and their eggs are already aboard
as I grasp the wheel to propel them
far over the hills and away. I can’t see
through the windscreen but,
with my feet on the ground,
there’s no need to know what lies behind:
I can hatch any future.
