Description
Advert for the Ministry of Food 1942
Details
'Priority'. Children are continuously building - building bones, teeth, tissues, nerves and muscles. They draw the building material from the food they eat. If the food is unsuitable, or lacking in quantity, their development is spoiled. It may be very diffcult to make up for it in after life, no matter how good thier food than may be. Therefore, where there are wartime shortages, 'fair share for everyone' means that for certain foods, children must come first. 'Please let your chilren take full advantage of the Government's priority schemes for you. Your local food office will gladly give you particulars'.
