Collection of the week: *NEW* John Ireland Caricatures

A bit of fun for you this week. John Ireland has over thirty years' experience in drawing for publishing, newspapers and advertising, and we are delighted to now be representing almost 350 of his fabulous illustrations, the majority of which are caricatures of famous faces from the 1980s to the present day. This is the first set of content opened up for licensing from our new partnership with The Lennard Publishing Collection.

Covering the worlds of rugby, cricket, golf, racing of both the motor and horse variety, sports commentary, television, music and politics, our set of images also includes some superb royal portraits, as well as themes such as celebrity gardeners and cooks, favourite comedians, London characters and well-known TV detectives. We've thoroughly enjoyed looking through John's brilliant body of work. It includes international stars of the cricket pitch (from Ian Botham to Monty Panesar and including the new Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan) or rugby field (Lawrence Dallaglio, Mike Tindall) in full dynamic flow, and familiar figures, past and present, such as Jamie Oliver, George Best, Victoria Wood, Henry Blofeld and even Elvis! Aside from being the work of an artist clearly at the top of his game, they are guaranteed to raise a smile.

John Ireland's caricatures are available for licensing now. Click here to browse the collection - and do let us know which one is your favourite.
