Bergen-Belsen Concentration Camp Roma and Sinti women in a barrack block with no bunks in one of the camps after the camp has been turned over to the Allied 21st Army Group 15th April 1945. 55, 000 inmates - many suffering from typhus and dysentery - were found in the camp. More than 10, 000 former prisoners died after liberation. Germany. Date: April 1945
