WW2 - The Bombardement of Castelforte, Lazio, Italy
During the battles of Cassino Castelforte, part of the German Gustav Line, was heavily bombed by Allied troops (1943-44). The city suffered hundreds of casualties in the event. Part of a group of 400 people who fled the bombardement. 35 km south of Monte Cassino, May 1944
