JULY 19, 1971 - On July 19, 1971, the team of foreman B. Roudensky achieved an outstanding performance at the 1. maj mine in Karvina. During the morning shift, 176 sets of steel reinforcement with a total weight of over 28 tons were dismantled in the old mine tunnel. There were 29 steel arches per worker, which is seven times the average output in the shaft. This large amount of material, which is then reused in the stamping of new mine tunnels, was handled by foreman V. Bajer's crew. The excellent performance, worked in honour of the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia, was due to the use of several technical and organisational improvements and the support of the technicians led by Z.
