Anniversary of Prague liberation
Czechoslovakia - Prague 1950. Czechoslovak Army soldiers march down Wenceslas Square during 5th anniversary celebration of Soviet liberation of Prague on May 7, 1945. Historical fact is, however, that Prague was liberated by General Andrej A. Vlasov and his Russian Liberation Army on the 6th and 7th of May 1945 while Red Army arrived on the 9th of May. This fact had been long denied by Czech and Soviet historians. CTK Vintage Photo
