Barton Villa - Benes Decrees
Czechoslovakia - Nachod. 1949. Villas confiscated from Jewish owners after WWII under Benes Decrees are used for Communist propaganda centers or small factories. Castles and chateaus also nationalized under same decree from aristocrats who were either chased away or imprisoned are used as summer retreats for working class. CTK Vintage Photo
