Border Patrol - horse - horsback
Border patrol carrying automatic weapons with live ammunition use horses to monitor vast border area. Thousands of Czechoslovak citizens fled their coutry to freedom after 1948. Communist government ordered the Border Patrol to shoot or arrest anybody who tried to cross the frontier illegaly (many people lost their lives trying to cross the border). Czechoslovakia 1960.
