APRIL 9, 1964 - Automatic machine for the production of 50 litre glass bottles. The only RORANT BB2 automatic machine for the production of 50 litre glass bottles in the country is in the Moravia glassworks in Dubnany. With two machine operators, it produces as many bottles per shift as a ten-person team in manual production. Labour productivity increases by 200 percent. The machine, imported to Czechoslovakia from abroad years ago, has been idle for a long time. The technical documentation was lost and there was no one who could put the machine together without it.It was only in the glassworks in Dubnany that a complex brigade of technicians and workers took over and managed to put the machine into operation. The finished glass bottles, which are used both for the chemical industry and for transporting ammonia water for the JZD, are packed in protective baskets in the factory yard. (CTK Photo/Emil Bican)
