Bratislava - trial - Tiso - Mach
Bratislava, Czechoslovakia 1946. Dr. Jozef Tiso and Alexander Mach are tried before National Court. Tuka was a Prime Minister in Slovak State, a pro German state that during the war forcibly deported thousands of Jews from Slovakia. Both Tiso and Mach were subsequent Commanders in Chief of the Hlinka Guards, a feared armed unit which participated in terrorozing Jews and Czechs. CTK Vintage Photo
