Czechoslovakia - Sudetenland 1949. Over 3 000 000 ethnic Germans who had resided for centuries in Bohemian and Maravian border areas known as Sudetenland were, after WWII, forcibly deported to Germany under so called Benes Decrees. Their farmland, homes and farm animals and personal property were confiscated by the Czechoslovak government. Photo : Young woman operates harvest machine. CTK Vintage Photo
