Cooperative of artistic production Slovac, Zdenka
DECEMBER 22, 1971 - For thirty-five years of its activity, the cooperative of artistic production Slovac in Uherske Hradiste has been the virtually monopolistic producer of ethnographic costumes and embroideries for fashionable clothing in the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic. The cooperative complements the wardrobe of some Czechoslovak theatres and also produces exclusive ladies fashion garments with folk embroidery. Zdenka Prochazkova, the head of the costume department, carries out an exit inspection of the hand-embroidered, hand-beaded lace of the Kyjov costume. (CTK Photo/Frantisek Nesvadba)
