Czechoslovak writer Bohumil Hrabal

Bohumil Hrabal, popular Czech writer who wrote world renowed books such as Oscar winning Closely Watched Trains, I Served the King of England both directed by Jiri Menzel. Hrabal, a beer drinker at popular Prague pub At Golden Tiger died by falling out of hospital fifth floor window when he attempted to feed pigeons in 1997.
