Czechoslovakia - Prague 1948. Prime Minster Antonin Zapotocky meets aspiring Communist Gustav Husak. After the Soviet invasion of Czechoslovakia in 1968 Husak became Leonin Breznev man in charge. The normalization process which followed after 1968 meant repression, job losing and eventually led to Charter 77 which was signed by many prominent artists including Vaclav Havel. CTK Vintage Photo
